Shirley May Curtis' Obituary
Shirley May Curtis was born in Steele, North Dakota on May 7, 1937. She passed away in Puyallup, WA on October 18, 2006 with her entire family by her side. The most wonderful and loving wife, mother, nana, nana 2 and sister. She left our life to have eternal life with our Lord. She joins her mother and father, Christine and James Bennett, and son-in-law, Todd Simon.Shirley will be missed greatly by her loving husband, Richard Curtis of Graham, WA, daughter Debbie (Jeff) Pennington, son Mark (Kristi) Cardey, daughter Tami (Leonard) Velasquez, and daughter Wendy (Frank) West, brother Dallas, sister Betty (Steve) Nordlund, brother Robert (Kathy) Bennett, sister Patty (Gary) Kingsley.She will also be greatly missed by all her grandchildren: Cara, Jeremy, Joe, Mark Jr.,Amber May, Kacey Mae, Michael, and Kyle, and all of her great-grandchildren.Our mother and wonderful wife will never be forgotten, her love remains behind. SheÂ's traveled in a new direction; love knows no space or time. We all will always love her. She will care for us from above. She will send us starlight and rainbows to remind us of her love.A Memorial Service will be held for Shirley at 11:00am on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Lutheran Church of St. Paul 22419 108th Ave. East. Graham, WA. A reception will follow after the service.
