Shirley Rosa Kennedy, born Shirley Rosa Marks in Augsburg, Germany in 1954, daughter of S.F.C. William Marks and Margarethe Marks. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. She has four children Michelle, Nichole', Michael, and Christina, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild that is 16 months old, one that went to heaven, and another that is on the way. Being an Army brat she has been all over the states and spent many tours in Germany, totaling nine years. She is fluent in German and would often speak it with her mother and sister before their passing. She met Melvin in 1978, married in December of 1980 and they had been married for 38 years. He helped her reach her dreams of having a horse, and they live in a wonderful horse community with several animals. They shared a passion for muscle cars, animals, shooting, movies, family and dancing. She loved Christmas, dancing around the house, listening to music, her Mustang, playing cards, horror movies, the Seahawks, collecting coins, jewelry, horse figures and patriotic memorabilia. She is a loyal person that held family in first place. She had her grandkids over every other weekend and would never say no to visit. She is famous in the family for her potato salad, crepes and Indian fry bread and enjoyed making them for everyone. She was the heart of her family and will beat on in every one of you.
