Shirley Jane Kassuhn's Obituary
Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to matthew Hall and Thelma Strickland on August 23, 1941. She met Ronald Kassuhn who was in the army in 1962 in NC. They moved to Tacoma, Washington where they raised their 3 children in Fife and Milton. They were business owners, owning Milton Tavern, Mark Twain's, Shipwreck Restaurant and Lounge, and Milton Mini-Mart. Shirley was also a waitress for many years at Denny's and I-Hop. She loved being a housewife also, loved jewelry, coffee, and good friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ronald.
She is survived by her 3 children Steve (Claudina) Kussuhn, Shirley (Chuck) Hall, and Ronald Ervin (Melinda) Kassuhn. Nine grandchildren, Mariah Kassuhn, Rhyan Kassuhn, Jordan Kassuhn of Milton, Tara and Rory Bosma of Puyallup, Shane Hall and Ashlee Hall of Puyallup. Jaidyn and Corey Popp of Montana, Joshua Kassuhn (Deceased of Texas), Andrew and Jamie Kassuhn of Texas, KayetLyn Kassuhn of Oak Harbor, and 10 great grandchildren.
Also, survived by her 2 sisters in North Carolina, Joyce and Elaine.
Shirley was loved and adored by many, including her family at Spring Ridge Retirement Home where she lived for 4 years.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley's family ask to please make a donation to the Dementia and Alzheimer's Association.
