Shirley Lorraine Hundven's Obituary
Shirley Lorraine Hundven was born in Tacoma, WA on August 11, 1926 and passed from this life into the next at the age of 91 at Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, WA on November 8, 2017. Shirley was preceded in death by he husband, Donald. She is survived by her sons Dennis and Richard (Laurie) and her daughter Karen (Jack); 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Shirley was a faithful wife, mother and homemaker. For many years, her home was always the center of our family celebrations and holidays.
She wrote the following before her final illness:
"My life has been so blessed. I had a great marriage, a wonderful husband, three great children and their spouses, my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, my special angel Mary Ann and a group of special friends for so many years. I was so blessed to have God in my life and United Lutheran Church. I love you all!"
