Shirley Ann Brown's Obituary
Shirley Ann Brown, 85, passed away on December 13th, 2018. Shirley was born in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada to William and Ellen Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, son Brian and brother George.
Shirley is survived by her sister Colleen who resides in Rutland, Vermont, sons Bradley (Cindy) and Ivan Worthington-White, her step daughter Cynthia Brown and grandchildren Michael, Stefanie, Lindsey, and great grandson De’Marco.
Shirley was a loving, caring woman who enjoyed being with her friends and family. She was a volunteer with the Pierce County Humane Society, member of the Tacoma Outboard Association and Kiwanis. She loved entertaining her family and friends and even found time to be a talented ceramic artist as well. Upon retiring Shirley and Charlie shared many wonderful years traveling around the world and always enjoyed their yearly trips to Maui and Florida with many of their friends and family.
Shirley will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. She touched everyone with her warm loving smile and open arms. Her generosity and genuine caring attitude put Shirley in an exclusive place in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
The family would like to thank The Haven in Allyn for the wonderful and loving care they provided for Shirley.
