Shirley Ann Bostwick's Obituary
Shirley Ann Bostwick, of University Place WA passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at her home on February 13, 2017. Growing up in Tacoma WA she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943. She married Gordon Bostwick in 1947. She worked at AT&T Telephone Company and then Tapco Credit Union until she retired in 1985.
Shirley loved cooking, skiing and playing golf. She also loved to travel with family and friends. She later enjoyed going on international cruises with her life partner John Dolge.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Fannie (Woodard) Carscallen, parents in-law William and Verna Perkins, her husband Gordon Bostwick, her brother Thomas Carscallen (Irene), her sisters Beverly Tweedy (Jack) Margaret Thomas (Al) Granddaughter Elaine Bostwick Widener and Great-Granddaughter (Thompson) Hailee M Franklin.
Shirley is survived by her loving son Donald (Pat), Grandson Brian Bostwick (Nicole), Great Grandchildren Koral Bostwick, Brison Bostwick, (Thompson) Cera Widener, Kyea Cooper and Mason Newman. She is also survived by her caring sister Carol Ward (Bob). Loving aunt of her nieces and nephews (Ward) Pat, Wendy, Penny and John, (Tweedy) Sue, Sandy, Jack Jr. Jeff, (Thomas) Carrie, Mark, Tiff and David, (Carscallen) Sheri and Pamela.
Shirley enjoyed visiting with friends and family and will be surely missed.
