Shirley May Blacker
Died September 11, 2015 at the age of 86
Shirley was born in Chehalis Washington July 2, 1929 into the family of Herbert Jarman. When Shirley was two years old her mother died. Herbert Jarman remarried Shirley’s loving Step-Mother, Mollie.
Shirley was preceded in death by her caring and devoted Husband of many years, Bill Blacker, who died July 2015. She was also preceded in death by her first husband and beloved son, Melvin Webb and Melvin Webb Jr.
Shirley was a long time employee of the Tacoma School District and retired with Bill to the town of Morton. There they enjoyed retirement with many hours of fishing and camping. Shirley and Bill enjoyed the "snow-bird" lifestyle after retirement, spending many winters in the Arizona desert.
Shirley is survived by her granddaughter, Kirsten, and many loving extended family members, Church family and friends.
Shirley was known for her gentle demeanor and sweet giggle. She is missed and will be lovingly remembered.
