Shirley Ann Taylor
1925-2012
Shirley passed away peacefully on December 15, 2012. Born in Tacoma, Washington June 10, 1925, she was a life-long resident and left behind many family and friends. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Shirley graduated from Lincoln High School and married her childhood sweetheart, Don, upon his return from the war in 1945. She was active in PTA, scouts, and little league baseball as her two sons grew up and continued to follow her grandchildren's activities as they matured as well.
Shirley enjoyed life and was most happy when with her beloved husband Don, who passed away in February 2006. She loved boating, fishing, camping, and doing ceramics. She also worked with Don at their Hardware store City Hardware, for several years.
Shirley leaves behind her two sons Don (Diane) and Dick (Vicki), four grandchildren Donivan, Derek, Michelle, and Leah, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
