Shirley Agnes (Curran) Stolen
A lifelong resident of Tacoma, born in 1926, and daughter of Michael J. and Agnes Curran. Shirley passed away at the age of 81. Shirley attended Franklin Elementary, Jason Lee Jr. High, and graduated from Stadium High School in 1944 - a vivacious blue-eyed brunette. Her full life included two marriages: Warren Gillmer, and their two sons: Gordon (Karen) and their children, Stephanie and Travis, Shirley's grandchildren, and son, Douglas (Bonny). She was preceded in death by her second husband John Stolen and then her loving friend, Chuck Durrance. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Jack and Robert Curran. The family expresses their thanks to the staff at the Lutheran Home. A memorial service will be held at the Tacoma Lutheran Home's Chapel (1301 N Highland's Parkway, Tacoma, on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm. A light snack will be served following the service.
