I met shay from a boyfriend of hers, we all lived together for quite some time. I moved back to my town in kelso, washington, but would drive up on the weekends and see her. Then we also shared a place in Puyallup. We had one of those friendships where we may not talk for a while, but when we did, the connection was just still automatically there. She was a very strong and determined lady and fought as hard as she possibly could. I am heartbroken and I will miss her and cherish her every day. I know she is in heaven with her mother. Although Sheryl and I never met in person since we both worked remotely. We would talk all the time. She had shared with me personal details about her life and experiences, I was in such awe of how amazing and strong she was. I know she was suffering in so many ways, especially after her mom passed away and then in health. I know I can find comfort that she is no longer suffering and hoping she is smiling down with her mom holding her hand giving her the comfort she missed. Sheryl, I will miss your friendship, but I will never forget you.

High school, first jobs at Little Caesar’s, sleepovers, ice cream runs to Mega Foods where Dad taught us about California stops lol, Westport, Ocean Shores, moving adventure from MS…those are just a few of the countless memories I have. Sheryl and I had one of those friendships where we’d go months without talking but as soon as we texted or talked, things would just start flowing again. I hadn’t talked to her much since Oct due to the struggles we were both dealing with, but she was always in my thoughts and it’s still a bit of a shock knowing she’s passed.
May there be comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering from any heath issues or dealing with pain, and may we all continue to find peace in all the memories we were able to share with her over the years. ♥️
