SHEILA KAREN STOCKMAN (WILSON), 76 of Lakewood passed away peacefully January 6, 2017. Born April 26, 1940 in Ellensburg, Washington to Eugene and Vica Wilson. Sheila graduated from Ellensburg High in 1958 where she held high honors and swam with the water ballet. Sheila went on to graduate from Saint Elizabeth School of Nursing in Yakima, Washington. Sheila married Bennie Morris Stockman on June 30th, 1961 for 54 years. Sheila was a RN at Lakewood General Hospital where she helped open their ICU unit. She retired in 1981 in order to help her husband with their business. After Bennie sold the business, she returned to her love of nursing at Washington State Hospital until 2010.
She is survived by her three children Mark, Tonya and Natasha as well as her brother Lt. Col. William E. Wilson and sister Clare Lee Panattoni. A memorial service will be held at the LDS church 10018 Farwest Dr SW, Lakewood, Washington at 4:00 PM on Jan. 28th, 2017.
