Resilient Angel
I didn't know the moon could hang so low in the sky at night.
The Stars they still twinkle but they'll never be quite as bright.
This old world still turns, but now it seems to move so slow.
All the colors around me are pale, without your radiant glow.
I will always long for our quiet talks, and that one final kiss.
Forever we will grieve your loss, you will always be missed.
To your pain in this life you are no longer bound.
I take comfort in knowing, one of the most resilient Angels, you shall be crowned.
Your chains have been broken now your soul flies free.
Your legacy was love, and in our hearts will always be.
You lived your life so Valiant and true.
Now it's time to send you on with this final; I love you.
Steve.
