To Sharon's family - I was so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. Sharon was a very kind and generous person. She always had a smile on her face and it was so infectious, one couldn't help but smile back and you would leave a much happier person. I also played softball with Sharon; she was a great teammate. Sharon was a wonderful person with a great many friends who along with her family and co-workers, loved and admired her. Sharon, even though it's been years since I've seen you, (Sea-Land days) I've never forgot you or your beautiful smile. You were a blessing in my life, and a wonderful co-worker/teacher. My cousin,( my big sister), the person that I admired and looked up to during my childhood. We took different journeys once we grew up, but I have so many great memories. Your journeys have led you to our final destination (HOME)sooner than I but and you will be missed here, but we will all see you when we get there. I am very saddened by the passing of Sharon and send my heartfelt condolences to her family.
I hadn't seen Sharon since the early 1970's, but have always had fond memories of our days at St. Leo's Grade School. We played softball together (she was by far the better player). Sharon usually sat two seats behind me, as we were often seated alphabetically. She was tall, slender, and beautiful with a very kind and sweet disposition. When I picture Sharon, I see her laughing, her head tilted to one side. I also picture her on the softball diamond playing either 1st or 3rd. Mrs. Tetreault & Mrs. McCaffrey were our coaches and they knew they had a winner in Sharon -- both on the field and off.
