Sharon D'Ann Crawford's Obituary
Sharon D’Ann Stansell Crawford, age 56, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
She was born on January 3, 1970, in Stanton, Texas, to the late Coley G. Stansell and Zelma J. Stansell. Sharon attended Brookdale Elementary School, Baker Junior High School, and graduated from Lincoln High School.
Sharon married Daniel Leon Crawford on May 4, 2002, and though the marriage later ended in divorce in February 2011, she remained deeply devoted to her family. She is survived by her three children, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Sharon accepted Christ as her Savior and lived her life as a Christian, reflecting her faith through love, kindness, and grace toward others. She was known for having an open heart and an accepting spirit, welcoming everyone just as they were. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she showed it through her care, generosity, and the joy she brought into every room.
Sharon began working at the age of 16 with Jack in the Box, where she advanced to a Lead position. She later worked for McDonald’s Corporation for 15 years before joining the Tribal Lottery Department at Emerald Queen Casino in 2001. Sharon served as a Lead for 21 years, where she was respected for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
In 2004, Sharon became a member of the Eastern Star, Amaranth Chapter #48, where she served faithfully as Conductress.
Sharon loved bringing people together. She had a true gift for cooking and took great joy in feeding those she loved. Family gatherings were her happy place, especially trips to Lincoln City, Oregon, for family reunions. Sharon had an infectious laugh and a sharp sense of humor—always ready with a joke and never missing a chance to make someone smile. Her laughter, warmth, and joyful presence made every gathering brighter.
Sharon’s life was a testimony of love, laughter, and faith. Though she is no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of the Lord. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
