Scott C. Aton's Obituary
Scott C Aton
On January 19, 2009, Scott Cornelius Aton left this earth for another place; a matter of faith for many, skepticism for some: unknown, unprovable. He leaves behind a few close friends, a number of acquaintances whom he respected and loved, and innumerable persons whose lives he touched and whose lives in turn touched his. We, all of us, will grieve for our loss, but we shall not forget his long held admonition: "Everything is a beginning." Scott Aton was born in Piqua, Ohio, on June 7, 1947. He moved with his family to California and graduated from high school in Sacramento. In the army from 1976-1979, he was stationed at Madigan Army Medical Center in the psychiatric unit. After leaving the army, he worked at Puget Sound Hospital for three years as a psychiatric social worker. He founded PSI Therapy Associates in 1981 and worked as a psychotherapist for many years. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy Cregan, many close friends, his four children: Mark, Amy, Aaron, and Sarah, and many grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Garden Chapel at 10 am Friday January 23rd.
