To our family in Washington:
Hugh, Ken & family, Chirstine & family, Carol & family.
We were saddened to learn about Sawako's death. We feel her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was so proud of them, loved them deeply and always there for them.
Her love for her garden and her great skill in sewing could not be matched.
Our children always will be remember her for the big, juicy hamburgers she used to make for them when they were little.
We will always be greatful to her for being there for Hugh for nearly fifty years. We will miss her not being there.
She was a brave person over the years after being a cancer survior.

Sawako will always be in my heart as a beautiful, talented mother of three of the finest people I have ever known. She was an incredible seamstress and an avid gardener who made her work look easy. What a gentle grace she always displayed in everything she did. Thank you God for sharing Sawako with us for 12 additional great years.
