Sandra Whitney, 65, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on June 24, 2024.
Sandra was born in Tacoma to her loving parents on October 23, 1958. She was a woman of many passions, with a particular love for Siamese cats and gardening. Outgoing and talkative, Sandra loved everybody and had a knack for making friends wherever she went. She found joy in others’ stories, often visiting Tillicum Village and the Salmon Bake to immerse herself in Native American cultures.
Sandra had a close bond with her family, especially her mother, and would always call her sister Karen when she was feeling down. She loved coloring and had a generous heart, often giving her drawings away to bring joy to others.
Sandra will be remembered for her vibrant personality and her ability to find happiness in the simple things in life. Her love for her family, her passion for learning about others, and her generous spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
