Sandra E. Viert's Obituary
Sandra Emilie Wilcox Viert passed away at home on her birthday, December 10, 2025, at the age of 89 following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Sandra was born in Seattle, Washington on December 10, 1936. She was the youngest daughter of Wesley Wilcox and Leota Meeks.
Sandra is survived by her children, David Fall, Julie Matos, and Karen Fall; and her step-son Gary Viert. Sandra has nine surviving grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband William Viert, her sister Sydney Baughman, her brother William Wilcox, and one grandchild.
For many years Sandra raised and showed Arabian horses, raised cattle with her husband William, and shared her life with many dogs, family, and friends. She will be missed by all of those who loved her and shared in her life.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a later date where friends and family will gather to honor the beautiful and remarkable woman that she was.
