Samuel T. Hoffine's Obituary
Sam Hoffine was born in Sandpoint, ID to Paul and Dolly Hoffine on March 13, 1943. He died at home in Puyallup, WA on March 1, 2010. Sam graduated from Highline HS in Seattle. He received his bachelor's degree and went to work for Boeing. He also taught machinists at Bates Vocational. For the last 13 years, he owned and operated a small embroidery business in Auburn and Fife, WA. Sam's passions were fishing, singing, golf, the Mariners and the Seahawks. He had a love for animals. He is survived by his wife, Margie; son, Paul; 3 grandchildren, Brittney, Samantha, and Timmy; 1 great-grandchild, Brandon; 4 sisters, Virginia, Paula, Donna, and Judy; 2 brothers, Jim and Jerry; and his yorkie, Baby. Memorial services will be held on March 6th, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Valley Chapel at Mt. View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA. Sam requested contributions be sent to the Pierce County Humane Society.
