Samuel K. Awaa
Samuel was born July 27, 1933 in Kohala, Hawaii and passed away January 9, 2013 in Lakewood, WA. Samuel was a highly respected Hawaiian musician who greatly valued his Hawaiian culture, and he shared that passion with not only the Hawaiian community, but with all others as well. Samuel's legacy will continue with those he was very close to. Samuel is predeceased by his daughter, Marvelyn K. Awaa. He is survived by his wife, Lulu; daughters Danette K.M. Stonebraker and Salome P. Awaa, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held 10am -" 1:00 pm Saturday, January 19 in the Willow Room at Mountain View Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1pm at Mountain View Memorial Park. Immediately following the graveside service, a memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall, 11204 Park Ave So. In Parkland.
