Samuel Etherly's Obituary
Samuel Etherly passed away on May 2nd at age 52 from a massive heart attack at his home in Lakewood, Washington. His sudden death came as a shock, and with a deep and profound loss to his family, the employees of Evergreen Computer Products where he was employed for 34 years, and his many friends and loved ones. Sam was born in Independence, Kansas on March 10, 1960. His early life was spent in Kansas where he graduated from high school. He moved to Seattle in 1978 and attended Seattle Central Community College. Sam worked as a warehouse man and delivery driver for Evergreen Computer Products for 34 years. He was dearly loved by his customers. He truly loved the daily contact that he had in his work. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. He is irreplaceable. Sam leaves behind to grieve, his three children Alisha, Jonathan and Amber, his ex-wife Linda Etherly, his mother Joyce Starnes, his sisters Toni and Heidi, John and Barbara Preston, Grace Preston, Nadine Jones, his long-time companion Karen, the employees of Evergreen Computer Products and his many friends. Sam was cremated and there will be a Celebration of his life June 9th at Keystone Congregational UCC, 5019 Keystone Place N. Seattle, WA 98103 at 11:00 a.m. Our lives are less bright and our days less cheerful without his presence. He was deeply loved by so many. He will always be with us in our hearts. Goodbye Sam, and thanks for gracing us with your presence.
