Samaria Nicole McDonald, daughter of Jennifer Renaye (Aaron) McDonald and granddaughter of Martha J. Aaron, passed away at the age of 6 on July 4, 2005, in Tacoma.Samaria was born December 3, 1998, in Dayton, Ohio. After the passing of her mother, she came to live with her grandmother, Martha. Samaria was home schooled and her favorite subject was science. She was working on building a robot and was fascinated by butterflies. For the past several months, Samaria worked on applying different strategies in an attempt to capture a butterfly of her own.During her play time Samaria liked to make mud pies with her friend and neighbor, Moneneshia. Her favorite toy was her Barbie who she named Â"GirlfriendÂ" and also had a pet stuffed cat named Â"Boots.Â" Samaria also played dress up, which her grandmother enjoyed watching while Samaria wasnÂ't aware. When she grew up Samaria thought she would enjoy being a Â"cashier ladyÂ" at McDonaldÂ's.SamariaÂ's favorite book was Â"AnastasiaÂ" and her new favorite song, which she just heard the other day, was Â"Shine.Â" Her family remembers her having the qualities of a true friend. Samaria will be remembered as being happy, lovable, devoted, trusting, and loving.A funeral for Samaria will be held at Noon on Friday, July 15, 2005, at the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. Visitation will begin one hour before services at the chapel. Interment will follow services in Mt. View Memorial Park.
