Samantha Mararac's Obituary
Our daughter, Samantha Michelle Senon Mararac, has gained her angel wings and was called home on December 4, 2021.
Samantha was born on May 2, 1995 in Tacoma, WA. She is survived by her parents, Alexander Mararac and Sharon Senon Mararac; younger sisters Alexis and Maxielle; only younger brother Xander and fur babies, Kumo and Sora.
Samantha graduated college at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, WA with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She worked for the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) where she served as a Resident Coordinator. She assisted residents in many aspects of social services, including securing financial assistance, reconnecting family members, and coordinating hot meals for families in need. She was passionate about her work, ensuring a positive impact on her residents' life.
Lovingly called by “Sam”, she lived her life by the motto, “work hard, play harder.” She enjoyed traveling, going to concerts/raves, competitive powerlifting where she won awards and was a self-proclaimed foodie. Sam’s shining personality and contagious energy made people gravitate towards her and every interaction was exciting, memorable and fun. She was considered a best friend to many of those who knew her. She fiercely loved her family and friends with all she had.
Sam was so many things - a loving and supportive older sister, a fun and caring daughter; doting mom to fur babies, a welcoming friend, goofball, instigator & life of the party, her daddy’s “first boy” and so much more. She was a true light in this world. We love her dearly and is sorely missed.
Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home
