First I wanna give my condolences to the family. My first encounter with Sam was at the Denny’s on 112th and Pacific Ave. My family and I was sitting at the table eating breakfast and here he comes strolling through the door like he was the coolest thing since sliced bread. He opens the door and starts singing to us at our table. My first thought was “ what in the world is this crazy man doing?” He kept singing to us and from that moment on I fell in love with his personality and asked him to join us for breakfast. He told us he sings karaoke in his free time. I shared with him that I was a bartender at the Caballeros Club and that we did karaoke on Thursday nights and that is how Daddy Rich became a well known established karaoke singer at the Caballeros Club. He had a wonderful smile that brighten up the room and a personality that would turn your frown upside when you talked with him. His voice was impeccable. When he sang you felt like you was at a real concert. Daddy Rich will truly be missed from our family. You will always be in our hearts.
