Salvacion Fornillos' Obituary
Salvacion "Bing" Fornillos Passed away peacefully on February 14, 2008. She was born on July 28, 1918 in the Philippines. Graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Education. Became the Principal of the Leyte Chinese High School in Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines for 20 years. Immigrated to the United States in 1984 and settled in Tacoma, WA. Was adored by teachers and students when she became a teacher's assistant at McCarver and Sheridan Elementary Schools. Was active and well-liked by members of the St. Leo's Parish. Her family was her most important legacy. She is survived by her beloved husband, Sal Fornillos, children Linda Suson of CA, Gladys Chan of NJ, Pauline of Tacoma, WA, and son Bonni, sons-in-law Lino Suson, Ben Chan, and Gil Montances. She has 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, both in the Philippines and across the country. In the Philippines, she has a sister, Mercedes, and a brother, Jose and sister-in-law Cristina. Bing was preceded in death by her two sons, Willie and Dommy. Viewings and Prayers on Sunday, Feb.17 from 1 to 9pm and Monday, Feb. 18 from 9am to 9pm.
