Salomon De Alba's Obituary
Salomon de Alba Was born in Calumet Park, IL on Oct 22,1921. He left us peacefully on March 31. Salomon spent his early years in Chicago.
He joined the Air Force and served 24 years. He was a decorated war vet, having served in WWII and the Korean War. After his military retirement he worked for the USPS, retiring in the 1980's. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, DAV and AMVETS. He enjoyed travel, sports and church socials.
He is survived by his wife Mary, sister Mary Lou, sons and daughter David (Deborah), Frank (Nancy), and Colleen, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Viewing Wed, April 11, 1-9pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood. Rosary Thurs., April 12, 10am Holy Disciples Catholic Church followed by 10:30am Mass; 10425 187th St E, Puyallup. Reception following at church hall, followed by graveside burial at Mountain View.
