SADAO SATO (POPPA SAM)
Our wonderful Poppa Sam (as he would say) went to see Jesus on Friday 5 April.
He is survived by his wife Keiko (grandma Kay). He was the wonderful father to two daughters June Coleman(Dale) and Sally Hughes(John) and six sons Larry Weisbeck(Sue), Gene Weisbeck, Kenny Weisbeck, Robert Weisbeck. Two sons preceded him to see Jesus, An awesome grandfather(Poppa Sam) to 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great grandchildren. All of his special extended family and many friends around the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, a sister, 2 sons and 1 grandson.
Jesus gave us a wonderful man to call DAD and became Poppa Sam to all.
Poppa Sam was a retied Japanese Chef, We will miss his Tempura, wonderful California roles and Taquitos. We figured that he must have made millions of California rolls and shared them with as many. We know we ate at least that many.
He also grew grand vegetables and large watermelons in his gardens.
All of us will miss his contagious smile. Strength through out his life no matter what challenge was put in his path.
