Sabas-Victor P. Taduran
Sabas-Victor P. Taduran, 81, of Tacoma, Washington, succumbed to Acute Myeloid Leukemia at home surrounded by his family on October 14, 2014.
Sabas is survived by his wife Irene of 63 years; his daughter, Marilyn and son-in-law Jonathan Garcia; his daughter, Wilhelmina and son-in-law Mitsunori Kobayashi; his daughter, Evangeline Takahashi; his daughter, Lorna and son-in-law Gabriel Gozum; his son, Charlie and daughter-in-law Victoria Taduran; his daughter in law, Lorna Taduran; his 17 grandchildren Caitlin, Jordan, Yuichi, Michael, Kento, Jingo, Ariel, Erwin, Mark, Charlene, Beverly, Catherine, Kristine, Revelyn, Marvin, Kathleen, and Kenneth; his brothers and sister, Maximo, Rodrigo, Miguel, and Victoria; deceased daughter and son, Rebecca and Wilfredo; deceased father and mother Victor and Lorenza. Sabas was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend to all.
Sabas was born in Intramuros Manila Philippines on December 5, 1932. On March 2, 1951 he married his wife Irene. He then migrated in the U.S. in 1990. He worked at Sheraton Hotel, which then later on changed to Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma. He enjoyed work, cooking, and gardening. Sabas was a kind-hearted person who is always there for his family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 23rd from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood. The Funeral services for Sabas will be Friday, October 24th at 11:00 am at Mountain View’s Aspen Chapel inside the Celebration of Life building.
