Ryan Christopher Jeffery's Obituary
Ryan Christopher Jeffery
11/25/71 to 7/8/15
Ryan passed away unexpectedly on July 8th 2015 at his home in Olalla, Washington.
Ryan was born on November 25, 1971 in Auburn, Wa. Ryan grew up in Kent, until 1987 when the family relocated to Alaska. Ryan attended Robert Service High School in Alaska and graduated from there in 1990. Ryan’s independence soon found him packed up and on the road back to Washington in his truck all the way from Alaska. Ryan landed his first “real” job with Costco Wholesale where he worked in the tire shop for several years. Ryan then found his calling when his lifelong friend Rob introduced him to the wireless communications industry. Ryan worked for more than 15 years in the wireless industry as a tower technician and a construction supervisor. He was well known as a skilled climber (Tower Rat) and a respected leader. Ryan was an exceptional co-worker in an industry that required many talents and a respect for dangerous situations.
Ryan had a love for animals, especially his dogs. He had a passion for fishing with a talent to find fish when no one else could. Being outdoors was where he was most comfortable, and you would rarely find him following the well-traveled path. He also enjoyed being in his boats and being on the water. Ryan was the friend that was good at everything he did, whether it was skiing, snowboarding, biking, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, or even any of the many sports games he played as a kid.
Ryan is survived by his Mother Marilyn Lantz, Stepfather Wesley Lantz, Sister Amy Jeffery, Nephew Bryson Rary, Grandfather Leonard Liptack, Uncles Steve, Rick, and Ron Liptack, Cousins Alex, and Taylor Liptack, Dog, Bubba Cats, Pixie, Lefteye, and little Red. Ryan was preceded in death by his Grandmother Francis Liptack.
There are truly no words that can express how deeply Ryan will be missed. Along his journey he touched many lives each unique in its own way. Those lucky enough to experience this will never forget this man for he has left a lasting impression upon our souls.
For all of us who knew him well, he will forever be there, challenging us to try harder to catch up to him.
