Ruth Lorraine Zoda's Obituary
Our hearts are heavy as we share that Mom, Ruth Zoda, passed away on February 28, 2025, in **Puyallup, Washington State. Born on November 25, 1934, in Eastern Washington State, she lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.
Mom's kitchen was the heart of our home, filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking and the warmth of her laughter. She loved nothing more than gathering us around the table for a hearty meal she had prepared with love. Some of our fondest memories are of the camping trips she took us on, exploring the great outdoors and sharing stories around the campfire.
Her creativity knew no bounds. Whether she was sewing us beautiful clothes or crafting intricate artworks, her hands were always busy bringing beauty into the world. Her confident spirit and determined nature inspired us every day. She was always there for us—dependable and responsible—guiding us with love and wisdom.
Even later in life, she embraced new adventures. Taking on a new role as a baker at Bates Technical College, she infused her passion for cooking into her work, touching the lives of those around her.
She is deeply missed by her children: Pamela Corral, Dixie Phelps, and*Dexter Zoda.
Mom, you taught us to love life and to have fun along the way. Your adventurous spirit and creative soul live on in us. We will cherish every memory and hold you in our hearts forever.
