Ruth Victoria Boje's Obituary
Born in Tacoma on June 26, 1916, she died peacefully from heart failure on April 22, 2003 at the age of 86. Ruth was a kind and gentle lady but was feisty and stubborn as a Swede could be when necessary. She unselfishly gave her time and energy to whoever needed it. In earlier years she and her husband enjoyed many family camping/fishing trips. She crocheted and was an avid reader. She loved birds and gardening. She loved to be outside tending her flowerbeds where she grew many beautiful flowers. In later years she greatly enjoyed going to Sound End Senior Center where she made ceramics and played Skip-bo with her friends there.Her husband, William, daughter, Barbara Baker; sister, Judy Winburn; and brother, Carl Lindberg preceded her in death. She will be forever be missed by her daughters, Carole Hill and Kaye Davies (Brian Rio), sisters, Alice Carlyle and Inez (Paul) Keating; brother, Floyd Lindberg; grandchildren, Jim, Dan (Sarah), Bruce (Cathy) and Matt (Tabbie) Baker, Chuck Roush, Robyn Davies, Rory, Tori and Andre Hill. Also missing her are her great-grandchildren, Ashtyn, Jesse, Kaylee, Colton, Braden, Will and Wes Baker, Stephanie and Tristan Roush, Jelani, SeVon and SeKai Hill, Brandon Mitchell and JJ Stevens. She is also survived by cherished special family members, Char Roush, Loren Robinson and son-in-law Jim Â"PeteÂ" Baker.A special thank you to neighbors Jeanette, Betty and Pauline for the friendship and many kindnessÂ' to Ruth for many years.A special thank you also to the firemen and paramedics of Station 10 for their many quick responses and kind, compassionate care of Ruth.Funeral services will be at 3pm, Saturday, April 26th, 2003, at Mt. View Valley Chapel.
