Ruth R. Fraizer's Obituary
Our beautiful loving Mother was received in the LordÂ's arms on Friday, February 24, 2006 at her DaughterÂ's home in Peoria, AZ. Mom lived a full life with her loving Husband, George and their ten children. Mom was involved in all of her childrenÂ's activities, along with the PTA, AmVets Auxiliary, the Lady Moose Lodge and she was a member of the East Side Christian Church. Her greatest joy was with their 23 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren, who she cherished and adored. Loving and spoiling was her mission.Mom was born and raised in Cain Hill, Missouri to John and Merrill Rountree. After high school she moved to California where she met and fell in love with the love of her life, our Dad. Their union lasted 43 years. Mom will be lovingly missed by her children Barbara (Gary) of California, George (Renae) of Oregon, Fred (Joyce) of Tacoma, Lynn (Rick) of Tacoma, John (Lori) of Tacoma, Michael (Maureen) of Vancouver, Michele (Darrel) of Arizona, Sue (Todd) of Tacoma, Patty (Rick) of Lacey and Rod of Tacoma; two sisters Elaine Hodge and Pam Appelt and one brother Don Rountree, all from California. She was preceded in death by her loving husband George and three brothers Jay, Tommy and Bill.MomÂ's true passions were her family, friends and gardening. Her gardens were always bursting with color and variety ~ there wasnÂ't a flower she didnÂ't love! Reading, crocheting, canning and traveling are just a few of the things she liked to do in her spare time. She loved to sew ~ in the early years she made clothes, pajamas, dolls and costumes for her ten children and then later, created beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilts for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always felt if the Grandchild was sick, feeling sad or lonely one of her quilts around their shoulders would be the needed special hug from GrandmaLoving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and compassionate Friend you touched many lives with your gentle ways. Go and take DadÂ's hand and together you both can walk without pain or loneliness, as your two hearts will once again be joined as one. We will miss your smile, your laughter, your stories and most of all, your touch. We will cherish all of our memories of your devoted love to us. You are forever in our hearts.A Celebration of MomÂ's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2006 in the Mountain View Celebration of life Center.
