Ruth Magill's Obituary
Ruth Magill passed away on March 3, 2013 at the age of 78. A lifelong resident of Tacoma, born on November 21, 1934 to Clyde and Ruth Matheasen.
She married Richard Magill on July 14, 1951. Ruth spent many years as a CNA at St. Joseph Hospital, Midland Manor, and several local nursing homes.
After retiring, she volunteered with children in the Petting Zoo & Amusement Part at the Puyallup Fair. She enjoyed gardening and bingo.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Clyde. Survived by sister Joanne Holy, daughters, Cindy Denton, Cathy (Jim) Brooks, and sons, Rick (Tracy) Magill, and Doug (Geneva) Magill; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was a very special lady to many and will be dearly missed.
Services to be held Tuesday, March 12 at 1:00 in the Garden Chapel, Mt. View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's foundation of American
Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
