Ruth Marie Jackson's Obituary
Ruth Marie Jackson, 67, a resident of Tacoma, Washington, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born May 19th, 1949 in Puyallup, Washington to Robert and Charlotte Westbrook.
She attended school in the Puyallup area. Went to Puyallup High School.
She was a loving mother, married and divorced young, she always put her kids first, and worked hard, long hours to provide for them.
She loved to laugh. She liked funny movies, working in her (or anyone else's) garden, she liked camping and fishing with Butch. She loved all animals and would always feed the strays and take them in. She was always happiest when she was hanging out with family and friends, or while quietly reading a good book. She had a lot of fun at the Casino, she was always very lucky. She was a very kind-hearted, giving person. If a friend needed help with anything, and she was able, she'd always help.
She is survived by her best friend and love of 41 years, Robert (Butch) Glass, her daughter, Kim (husband Kenny) Nelson, her son, Greg Jackson, her father, Robert Westbrook, brother, Bob Westbrook, her Sister-In-Law, Sandra Westbrook, 4 grandsons, Jeffery Nelson, Nickolas Nelson, Alex Nelson, and Connor Jackson, One grand daughter, Cassandra Jackson, one great grandson Isaac Staley, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Larry Westbrook, her mother Charlotte Westbrook, her sister, Judy Westbrook, and her baby grand daughter, Brianna Nelson.
She was loved so much, and will be missed and thought of, forever.
