Ruth J. Newman's Obituary
Ruth Josephine Newman, 86, beloved wife, mother, and G-Ma passed away on August 18, 2009. Ruth was born in Kelseyville, CA and settled the Tacoma area in the 1950's with her husband and two sons.
Ruth will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and the time she spent with her teenage grandchildren and their friends. Her bags were always packed for a trip with family or friends. Ruth will be greatly missed by her sons Don and Richard (Jocelyn), grandchildren Anson, Lacey and Ben (Krystal), great-grandchildren Mason, Nolan, Colson, Bradleigh, Brenden and Ryan, and her countless friends. Ruth has been reunited with her loving husband of 41 years, George.
Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood on Saturday, August 22 at 2:30 pm. Following services, a reception to celebrate Ruth will be held at The French Hen, 8807 Bridgeport Way SW, Lakewood.
