Ruth Gibson's Obituary
Ruth Gibson, born in Ludwigshafen, Germany, on January 16, 1932, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, in the arms of her caregiver in Puyallup, Washington, at the age of 92.
Ruth was the beloved widow of Army Warrant Officer Gene Gibson and a devoted mother to Heinrich Becker, Helen Reid, and Michael Gibson. She is preceded in death by her sons Gordon Veach and Steven Gibson.
Ruth had a lifelong passion for animals, a deep appreciation for old country music, and a love for traveling during summer vacations. She especially cherished the summers spent exploring new places with her granddaughter, Jennifer, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Ruth also delighted in testing her luck at the casino, where she spent many enjoyable moments with her son, Michael, by her side.
Her kindness, warmth, and adventurous spirit touched everyone who knew her, leaving a legacy of joy and love.
Viewing is available at Mountain View from 11am to 4pm, Tuedsay, Decemeber 10, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Mountain View Memorial Park's Garden Chapel in Tacoma, Washington.
