Ruth Emma Anderson April 1, 1920 - May 9, 2008 Age 88, Ruth, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away suddenly on Friday, May 9, surrounded by family. Born in Tacoma, WA, she attended Lincoln High School and Tacoma General School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse until her retirement in 1985. Ruth loved cooking, crafts, needlework, tending to her plants, and baking for her family. Ruth is survived by her daughters Linda (Jim) Hobbick and Kathy (Chuck) Nasman, her 4 grandchildren Chris Yetter, Jon Yetter, Kammy Nasman Pietraszek, and Kara Nasman, and sister Ellen (Allert) Berger. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 15 at 1:00pm in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home with viewing from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
