Ruth Ann Anderson Cohrs, 85, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, formerly of Tacoma, Washington died Saturday, October 18, 2003 at Northwest Medical Center ofBenton County in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born September 18, 1918 in Tacoma, Washington to Enoch Carlson and Anna (Larson) Carlson.She was raised and educated in Tacoma, Washington. She married John L. Anderson in May 1939. Ruth was a beautician and operated her own Beauty Salon in Tacoma, Washington. John Anderson died in 1990. She married John Cohrs in April 1995. He died in 1999. Ruth then moved to Bella Vista in September 2003.She was preceded in death by her husbands, John L. Anderson and John Cohrs; daughter, Barbara Melendres; and grandson, Tim Gosenburg.She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Pluimer and husband, Rev. Paul Pluimer of Bella Vista, Arkansas; five stepsons, David Cohrs and wife, Ellen of Oregon, Harold Cohrs and wife, Leona of Washington, Ken Cohrs and wife, Karen of Washington, Gordon Cohrs and wife, Nancy of Washington, Paul Cohrs and wife, Sheryl of Indiana; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, October 24, 2003 at Mountain View Funeral Home.A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Mountain View Memorial Park. A memoria1 celebration will be held at 12:30 A.M., Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Abundant Life Fellowship in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for Missions to the Christian Center, 1700 Moberly Lane, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712, or to the Abundant Life Fellowship, 5917 South Thompson Ave., Tacoma, WA 98408.
