Russell F. Johnson
88 years old. Born February 20, 1931 in Tacoma, Washington and died April 1, 2019 in Tacoma, Washington.
Retired, United States Air Force. Russ had a passion for Seattle Mariners Baseball and was also an avid Seattle Seahawks fan.
He loved nature, and spent many summers kayaking down Pacific Northwest Rivers and the Puget Sound.
He is survived by: son, Gary Johnson, and daughter, Gail Brower. Preceded in death by his wife, Janette Johnson, and daughter, Jennifer Daniels.
The family of Russell would like to give special thanks for all the wonderful care that was given to him by The Weatherly Inn and St. Joseph Hospital.
A celebration of Russell's life will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Weatherly Inn Chapel, 6016 N Highlands Parkway, Tacoma, WA 98406.
