Russell H. Gunderson's Obituary
Russell Gunderson Born November 21, 1920 in Luverne, MN; passed away May 9, 2008. Joined the National Guard in Minnesota and served in WWII, receiving a Bronze Star. After graduating with honors from the College of Puget Sound in 1950, he worked at Weyerhaeuser for 32 years. Russell was President of the National Association of Accountants, a lifelong member of Elks and Emmanuel Lutheran Church, and Past President and Treasurer of Sons of Norway. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Swanson) Gunderson, daughters Karen (William)ECallihan of Salt Lake City, UT, and Gail (Earl) Mangold and their daughter Mead of Phoenix, AZ. Services will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on May 21, 2008 at 11am. Memorial contributions may be sent to Veterans of Foreign Wars or Sons of Norway, Norden Lodge 2.
