To the family of Trooper Rudy Ignacio, please accept the condolences of the veterans of the 11th Armored Cavalry who served in Vietnam and Cambodia. Rudy was one of us , one of our own. He served gallantly with B Troop in 1968 and 1969 of the Legendary Blackhorse Regiment. He combat support and efforts are gilded with the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. All Americans should stand and salute a man so willing to sacrifice and put his life on the line for his country and fellow man. May he rest in peace, and know that his death will be published in our regimental newsletter and solemnly acknowledged at our annual reunion.
