Ruby grew up in Nebraska, near Fullerton where she attended Fullerton H.S, and met and married her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Ostrander. They moved to Wyoming and then to Tacoma in 1946 and lived in their home for 67 years. Ruby was a homemaker all her life, taking great joy in caring for her home and family. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Tacoma, and cherished the friendships and fellowship she enjoyed in worship and service to her Lord. “This is my prayer as time goes by, let me keep busy till I die.” She was ready when God called her home – “well done good and faithful servant.” Matt. 25:21.
