Roy E. Carpenter's Obituary
Roy Carpenter, 96, passed away on September 18th 2020 in Tacoma, WA. He was born on October 20th 1923 in Lake City American Lake WA, to Frank and Helena Carpenter.
Roy was a follower of Christ and a member of the Bridge United Methodist Church in Tacoma for many years. His family will always remember his devotion as a husband, father and grandfather. He loved traveling the country with his wife and enjoying retirement from the fire department.
He is survived by his loving family, daughter-in-law Ann Carpenter; son-in-law DeWayne Ballard; three grandchildren Sherry (Michael) Dickerman, Wayne Ballard and Candice (Brian) Hitchins; five greatgrandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Onita; daughter Sandra Ballard; son Ronald Carpenter.
Family services will be held.
