Rowen Iann Abiva Cabanlong's Obituary
Rowen was a former resident of Graham, Washington and became a resident of Navarre, Florida this past year.
Rowen was born February 9, 2000 at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington to Jennifer Abiva and Ronald Cabanlong.
At an early age he had taught himself to use chopsticks, ride a bike, and to swim. He enjoyed being a member of both the Air Force (Bethel High School, WA) and Navy JROTC (Navarre High School, FL) and hope to one day serve our country in the Navy as an electrician. This past year he became very active in NJROTC’s community service and where he had touch the lives of many people.
He had a big heart, a big smile, was a well mannered kid who made many people feel special, and very instrumental in encouraging his fellow JROTC succeed.
He spent most of his time reading, writing, enjoying the beach, loved playing Scrabble, and spending time with family.
Rowen is preceeded by his paternal grandfather Maraco Abiva.
He is survived by his mother Jennifer Abiva (Joshua Williams); father Ronald (Alishia) Cabanlong.
Siblings Dean Abiva, Ayanna Cabanlong and Audreah Cabanlong; maternal grandmother Lina Abiva; paternal grandparents Reynato and Paraluman Cabanlong.
He will be missed greatly by all family and friends.
