Rosey "Daisy" Mae Cunningham's Obituary
Rosey “Daisy” Mae Cunningham was born on February 4, 1937, to the parents of Harrison and Elizabeth Gibson in Eastover South Carolina. Rosey moved to Columbia, South Carolina with her family where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.
Rosey worked in a variety of occupations. She worked as an administrator in construction and various other professions. She married Clarence and had four children, Everett, Erica, Reginald and Keith.
In 1969 Rosey and the family moved to Germany where she made friends and connections that remain through this day. While in Germany Rosey began a job with AAFES that would turn into a career from which she would later retire some 40 years later.
Rosey loved to spend time with her family and husband. She also loved dancing, music, cooking, sewing, reading, entertaining friends, attending our sporting events and especially loved football. In fact, she had to stop watching football because she became too excited. Most of all Rosey loved spending time with the family.
Services will be held on December 29th at 11:00 AM at the Garden Chapel at Mountainview Cemetery.
Rosey was predeceased in death by her husband, Clarence Cunningham, her father, Harrison, her mother, Elizabeth, her sister, Lilly, her brother, Richard, her sister Katherine, and her grandchildren Alvin and Dianna.
She is survived by her four children, Everett, Erica, Reginald, and Keith, her grandchildren, Myisha, Everett, Lenny, and Lauren, her great grandchildren, her great, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
