Rosemary Rubendall's Obituary
Rosemary Teresa Wagner Rubendall, born 11-21-29 in Chicago IL, passed away peacefully 2/16/14 in DuPont, WA. Her parents were Richard Ferdinand Wagner, born in Czechoslovakia, and Marie Clara Smazenka, born in Austria, who migrated to Chicago in Feb 1928.
She was the widow of John “Jack” E. Rubendall who passed away in October 1987. Due to Jack being a career Army personnel, they resided in many areas including Illinois, California, Virginia, Washington, Alaska, France and Germany. She was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Allen Rubendall and sister-in-law Marjorie Wagner. She was the Mother of four sons: William Monroe and his wife Valerie of Concord, CA, John Edwin and his wife Monika of Puyallup, WA, Stephen Allen (deceased) and his wife Ellen of Hephzibah, GA and Richard Joseph and his wife Gail of Wethersfield, CT
She is survived by her sister Ernestine Ann Wagner Soehrmann and her husband Allan of Eckert, CO and brother Richard Joseph Wagner of Island Lake, IL.
Rosemary had 10 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino and crocheting blankets for family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite Veteran’s Association charity.
