Rosemary Agnes Heaps' Obituary
Rosemary was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Albert J. and Mary M. Klavon on November 12, 1933. Her life ended at age 76 after a long illness. Her loving family was with her at home, surrounding her with love and ministering to her needs. They supplemented the aid provided by a number of professional care givers from the Franciscan Hospice. "Always and Forever" is what Rosemary promised her soon-to-be husband William "Bill" Heaps, and he always responded with the lyrics of a Frank Sinatra song, "All the Way." Those promises in writing and in song were coupled with numerous renewals of their wedding vows in the Catholic Church during their 51-plus years of marriage. Bill's U.S. Air Force career and both their later jobs with the U.S. Department of Energy took the family around the world and across the USA many times. They were blessed with four children, Michael, Michele, Matthew and Martin Heaps. Martin, her baby, preceded his mother in death at Stanford University Hospital in February 1993, felled by an aggressive form of leukemia. Rosemary is survived by her husband William Heaps, sister Mary Ann Borman, Mary Ann's husband David Borman, their son Christopher Borman, grandson Mathew Borman; brother Albert J.
