Rosemarie Anderson's Obituary
"Remembering you is easy, I'll
do it everyday. Missing you is
a heartache that will never go
away". -unknown author
Born May 16, 1928 in Bellingham, Wa. to Albert and Madge Luond. At a young age, Rosemarie's family moved to Elbe, WA where her dad had a logging company. After graduation from Morton HS in 1946, Rosemarie moved to Tacoma to work at the Winthrop Hotel, as well as the Roxy Theatre. She met and eventually married the love of her life Wally, on May 21, 1949. Wally always mentioned what a beautiful bride she was and everyone who knew her commented on her beautiful long red hair. After marriage, Rosemarie and Wally started their family. Rosemarie worked as a beautician, at the Puyallup Fair,
for numerous grocery stores as a checker, as well as her years working at Tacoma General in the emergency room billing department for the seven doctors.
On April 5th, 1979 (Wally's Birthday), he and Rosemarie retired, purchased a 30' motor home and spent many winters in Las Vegas
having a ball, as Wally would always say. As the family grew, they gave up on their travels and were kept busy with their sports minded family going to all the events with their lawn chairs in hand.
Sadly, Rosemarie left us peacefully on April 20, 2016 to be reunited with her loving husband Wally. Her final days were spent resting in Tacoma General Hospital.
Rosemarie leaves behind her children Dennis (Georgia), Gary (Pegeen), Sue Fagering (Ken). Four delightful grandchildren; Lee Anderson (Jean), Justin Fagering (Stephanie), Jennifer Tester (Scott) and Margo Newman (Josh). Six beautiful great grandchildren; Anna & Adam Anderson, Carson & Kinsley Fagering, Axel & Elsie Newman. She also leaves behind her brother Tony Luond and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosemarie is proceeded in death by her parents & step mothers, Mae & Ruth, husband Wally (2013), brothers Albert, half brothers Carl & Roy and sister-in-laws Betty & Dorene.
