Rosario T. Paulino's Obituary
Rosario Talavera Paulino, born on October 22, 1937, in Oka Tamuning, Guam, USA, to Jose Quichocho Talavera and Concepcion Pangelinan. She was the third of four children and lived her first 48 years of her life on the island of Guam. In 1957, she married Jesus S.N. Paulino from the village of Inarajan and they raised their family in Mongmong then Barrigada Heights in Guam. Rosario dedicated many years of her career in Agana, Guam, where she worked for and retired from the U.S. District Court of Guam. She was known as an artistic and creative florist, decorator and baker for family and friends. She also played a huge role in teaching her children and grandchildren the art of kindness, generosity and decorating for many different social and monumental celebrations. She cherished her faith in our Lord Jesus, family and her friends. She always was generous and kind to all. She enjoyed talking and getting to know people. Her smile, unending energy and nonjudgmental attitude made you always want to be around her. She is survived by: Her children, Rosalind (Joseph) Rolinski, Jesse (Candie) Paulino, Paul Paulino and Therese (Andrew) Smithers. Her 17 grandchildren: Joseph Rolinski Jr, Angela (Damon) Goodrum, Natasha (Danilo) Domingo, Carlos (Kati) Calvo Jr, Melina (Geoff) Pennington, Lysandra (Jeremy) Hughes, Lamont Porter, Desmond Porter, Branden (Candy) Paulino, Candace (Jon) Soliza, Byron (Alicia) Paulino, Jessica (Jesse) Chea, Malani (Allen) Rider, Derek Paulino, Trisha (Armand) Paulino, Kyle Tainatongo, Kiana (James) Tainatongo. Her 27 Great grandchildren: Brianna Gillette, Kayleigh (Rakeem) Jackson, Joseph Rolinski III, Keeley Rolinski, Laylah Goodrum, Malik Goodrum, Isaiah Domingo, Ayden Domingo, David Domingo, Monty Porter Jr., Saffy Porter, Grayson Pennington, Lincoln Pennington, Kairi Hughes, Saya Hughes, Kaelin (Bianca) Khammala, Iasiah Paulino, Braden Paulino, Kegan Soliza, Talon Soliza, Jordyn Soliza, Nico Paulino, Isabella Paulino, Benji Chea, James Bohl Jr, Kaleel Bohl, Hezekiah Bohl. Her 9 great great grandchildren: Jamison Cole, Cali Jackson, Taya Jackson, Justice Weaver, Kyrie Carr, Malakai Youngsman, Aubrey Jackson, Rakeem Jr Jackson, Ai Maya Khammala. Her sister in law: Isabel Paulino from CA and her brother in law, Gregory Porter from AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus SN Paulino, her daughter, Connie Porter, her son in law, Reginald Porter, her parents, Jose Q Talavera and Concepcion Pangelinan, her brother, Jake Talavera, her sisters, Maria (Bert) Abrenilla, Julia (Gregory) Porter. Her brothers in law, Jose SN Paulino, and Juan Paulino. Her sisters in law: Rosalia Camacho, Josefina San Nicolas, Carmen Camacho, Maria Delgado, Trinidad Camacho, Florence Leon Guerrero. Her numerous nephews and nieces of the Talavera and Paulino families. Rosario’s legacy of love, faith and family will be remembered and held in each of our hearts forever.
