Family and friends were important to Rosalyn's life, and she was important to so many. Rosalyn's presence will be deeply missed and she will never be forgotten. Throughout Rosalyn's life she expressed her artistic talents and creative abilities, intelligence and opinions, interests and commitments. She loved to rescue and care for animals. For years, Rosalyn and her sister were active members of both the Assistance Dog Club of Puget Sound and lifetime members in the Pierce County Animal Welfare Association (501C3). Since their father served and then died in WWII, the sisters were members of the Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors, the USS Morrison Reunion Association (his last ship) and the American War Orphans Network (AWON).
